Join us for a transformative 2-hour workshop dedicated to exploring the 16 Longevity Exercises, otherwise known as Xing Yi Nei Gong, of renowned Chinese martial artist and physician, Dr. Wang Ji Wu. Known for their simplicity and powerful benefits, these exercises enhance physical vitality, improve circulation, and calm the mind. Rooted in Chinese medicine, internal martial arts, and qigong principles, Wang Ji Wu’s Longevity Exercises promote longevity by balancing the body’s energy systems and supporting holistic well-being.

In this immersive session, you’ll learn the 16 exercises, including variations, through guided practice and mindful movement, focusing on proper alignment, breathing techniques, and the underlying philosophy. We will also discuss the history of Wang Ji Wu’s teachings and their applications in daily life to support health, flexibility, and resilience.

Whether you are a beginner or have previous experience in qigong, tai chi, or other martial arts, this workshop offers a welcoming space to deepen your mind-body connection and tap into the age-old wisdom of longevity practices. By the end of our time together, you will have a foundational understanding of these exercises and the tools to incorporate them into your personal wellness routine.

EmilyMorrison is a certified Instructor in Shenlong Xingyiquan and Li Ding Jingluo Qigong. In 2016, she was given the honor of becoming a Disciple of the founder of NATSTA, Dr. Vince Black. In addition, she served as a member of the NATSTA Traditional Chinese Medicine Committee (TCMC) from 2019-2023. 

Emily is a certified practitioner of Jin Shou Tuina™, the medicine lineage particular to NATSTA, and has additional medical training in Classical Gongfu Medical Theory, Cranioscaral Therapy, Thai Massage, Shiatsu, Reiki (1&2), Herbalism, medical qigong, and Chinese Nutritional Therapy.
