Learn the Inner Alchemy of Tai Chi.

The Tai Chi Yang 13-Movement Form is easy to learn. It offers a perfect way to focus on integrating fundamental Tai Chi principles, such as rooting, strengthening, relaxation, flow, and the activation of Internal Alchemy. Suitable for students of all levels, it requires no special equipment and can be practiced anywhere, even in just 2 square meters of space. The movements are slow and gentle, providing a meditative exercise that doesn’t leave you breathless, yet effectively addresses key components of fitness. This makes it accessible to people of all ages and varying fitness levels.

Faïn began her journey in the bodymind within Chinese energetics with Master Karfung Wu instructing her in acupuncture principles, qigong, tai chi, nutrition, and Taoist philosophy between 1982-84 in Paris, France.

From 1984-86, Faïn traveled to the U.S. to work on her career as a dancer/choreographer and upon coming back to France, she studied with Dr. Jen, an acupuncturist, herbalist & martial artist from the Shaoling School for 7 years. During that period, Daria also studied Chinese mental energetics  with Francisco Albuquerque for 2 years. In 1990 Faïn was certified as an Alexander Technique teacher.

In 1996, she moved to the U.S. when she began to study with Master Mantak Chia and in 2001 she received the Universal Healing Tao full instructor certificate. She continued her studies with Mantak Chia and certified for Do Yin, Tan Tien Qigong, Tai Chi, and Iron Shirt. In 2010 she was invited by the Universal Healing Tao for a conference at the Tao Garden in honor of Master Chia’s birthday to present her research project on a darkroom she created with her collaborator in New York City.

Faïn has also studied for 5 years with Frank Allen qigong, Bagua, and the Wu style Tai Chi.

Faïn has been studying Classical Chinese with Sabine Wilms for one year and a half to read Taoist texts in their original language. She is also currently studying Tibetan Buddhism with Lama Tsultrim since 2016.

In 2016 Faïn created her certification program based on her approach of Chinese energetics and bodymind practices called C O R E  M O T I O N, which includes among other approaches, Qigong and the applications of Chinese energetics in daily life and creative process.

In parallel with her studies and practice of Chinese energetics for the last 40 years, Faïn is an international award-wining choreographer/dancer and theater director.
