Class Descriptions

  • Wang Ji Wu 16 Longevity Exercises is a form of qigong practice that focuses on promoting health, vitality, and longevity. Developed by Master Wang Ji Wu, a renowned qigong expert, this set of exercises combines movement, breath control, and mental focus to cultivate the body's energy and harmonize the mind, body, and spirit.

  • This class is designed for students of all ages to learn basic skills in all elements of Capoeira - movement, music, and the roda (game strategy). No experience with any other organized sport, dance, martial art, etc. is required.

  • In spherical qigong exercises, practitioners use their bodies to create energetic spheres and move qi (vital life force energy) within and around them. The movements are slow, graceful, and deliberate, accompanied by deep breathing and focused intention. Through these exercises, individuals seek to cultivate and balance their energy, harmonize the body and mind, and enhance overall well-being.

  • Join our weekly mindfulness meditation class with teacher + life coach Mary Welch. Mindfulness meditation offers us the opportunity to observe our own minds, cultivate a relationship of compassion, awareness and self acceptance with ourselves and generate more peace and ease in our lives. Practicing regularly with a group of like minded people can be powerful and deeply healing.

    Donation based. All levels welcome!

  • Ready to release stored tension and tap into a profound sense of emotional freedom? Join us for a unique and transformative experience with Dee Yergo that combines yoga, movement, breathwork, and powerful emotional release tools to leave you feeling lighter, vibrant, and more connected to yourself. In our fast-paced lives, emotions and stress often get trapped in the body, creating tension that impacts our physical and emotional well-being. This class is designed to help you let go of that weight and reconnect with joy.

This dynamic, yoga-inspired session weaves breathwork, vocalization, nervous system regulation, and intuitive movement to clear physical and energetic blocks. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, you’ll be guided with care, invited to listen to your intuition, and encouraged to move in ways that feel natural and honor your boundaries. With time, you’ll build resilience, deepen your nervous system capacity, and gain tools to navigate life’s highs and lows with greater confidence and ease.

Stay for the class that follows featuring the experience of Yoga Nidra—a deeply relaxing, visualization-based practice designed to integrate your experience on a cellular level, leaving you refreshed, grounded, and completely renewed.

  • Yoga Nidra, also known as “yogic sleep” or “psychic sleep,” is a deeply restorative form of guided meditation that leads you into a profound state of relaxation and awareness. Practiced lying down, this class guides you gently inward, balancing your breath and bringing the body into its natural state of harmony and homeostasis. In this state between wakefulness and sleep, you’re invited to explore layers of consciousness, experiencing an effortless calm where unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind simultaneously repair and reveal themselves.

This class, taught by Dee Yergo, begins with setting clear intentions and takes you on a visualization journey through and beyond the physical body.  It is a deeply restful experience of pure tranquility and a deeper dive into the subconscious for resilience, clarity, and healing. For some, this practice is an opportunity to detach and explore the mind, while for others, it serves as a valuable therapeutic tool, supporting mental well-being and recovery. Ongoing research even suggests that this state of non-sleep deep rest (NSDR) can recharge the brain, enhancing learning and focus.

Yoga Nidra welcomes all, creating space to feel our interconnected wholeness and sense of unity—expansive, restful, and healing. Allow yourself to sink into this sublime practice and emerge restored, aware, and awakened to your true, all-embracing self.

  • Experience the joy of movement and deepen your connection to your body in Let's Feel Great!, a unique class designed to support your physical, emotional, and energetic well-being. While acknowledging there’s a lot not to feel great about, this class invites you to nurture and fortify yourself while building meaningful connections with others through shared self-care practices rooted in movement.
