16 Longevity Exercises
Practicing the Wang Ji Wu 16 Longevity Exercises regularly brings numerous health benefits. It can improve circulation, flexibility, and balance, strengthen the immune system, and enhance overall physical fitness. The exercises are performed in a slow, gentle, and flowing manner, emphasizing relaxation, proper body alignment, and deep breathing.
Spherical Exercises
Spherical qigong exercises help improve flexibility, strength, and balance. They promote joint mobility, circulation, and the release of tension in the muscles and connective tissues. Regular practice can enhance posture, coordination, and body awareness. By moving energy in circular patterns, practitioners stimulate the channels and encourage the smooth flow of qi. This can result in increased vitality, improved organ function, and a sense of inner balance.
5 Elements Qigong
5 Phases Qigong is a traditional Chinese practice that focuses on cultivating and balancing the five elements—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water—within the body. Each phase in 5 Phases Qigong is associated with specific organs, meridians (energy pathways), emotions, and qualities. By engaging in specific movements, breathwork, visualizations, and meditations associated with each element, practitioners seek to cultivate and balance the corresponding energies within themselves.

This 6-class series is designed for students of all ages to learn basic skills in all elements of Capoeira - movement, music, and the roda (game strategy). No experience with any other organized sport, dance, martial art, etc. is required.

Begins 1/8/25
Yoga Nidra, also known as “yogic sleep” or “psychic sleep,” is a deeply restorative form of guided meditation that leads you into a profound state of relaxation and awareness. Practiced lying down, this class guides you gently inward, balancing your breath and bringing the body into its natural state of harmony and homeostasis. In this state between wakefulness and sleep, you’re invited to explore layers of consciousness, experiencing an effortless calm where unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind simultaneously repair and reveal themselves.
This class, taught by Dee Yergo, begins with setting clear intentions and takes you on a visualization journey through and beyond the physical body. It is a deeply restful experience of pure tranquility and a deeper dive into the subconscious for resilience, clarity, and healing. For some, this practice is an opportunity to detach and explore the mind, while for others, it serves as a valuable therapeutic tool, supporting mental well-being and recovery. Ongoing research even suggests that this state of non-sleep deep rest (NSDR) can recharge the brain, enhancing learning and focus.
Yoga Nidra welcomes all, creating space to feel our interconnected wholeness and sense of unity—expansive, restful, and healing. Allow yourself to sink into this sublime practice and emerge restored, aware, and awakened to your true, all-embracing self.
