Community Acupuncture
with Emily Morrison, LAc
Friday, December 12th, 10am-1 pm , sliding scale
In community-style acupuncture, multiple people receive treatment in a group setting, with the acupuncturist treating patients focusing on points from the elbows and knees down, as well as on the head. The use of a community setting allows for a lower cost per treatment and encourages patients to receive regular treatments. Sessions usually last 30 minutes or less, depending on the patient’s needs.
Acupuncture treatments have shown to be beneficial for a wide variety of conditions, including:
Chronic injury, including back, neck and joint pain; headaches and migraines
Acute Injury including sprains, strains, concussions, and minor fractures
Chronic illness including respiratory, autoimmune, digestive and reproductive issues
Mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, insomnia, and PTSD
New patients $55-$75
Return patients $35-$65
