Community Grief Ritual

The process of grief and healing through the challenges, trauma's and realities of life is one best supported in community and connection.

For many of us, we may feel alone in our grieving process, feeling that we should "just get over it" or that there should be a timeline on our healing. We will collectively create this container to honor the depths of our grief and bear witness to each other. 

Whether you are grieving the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a job, unmet expectations, memories of the past, or dreams of the future, in our time together, we will bring forth parts of us that we have shut off or ignored in service of our survival. Here we will lay our burdens of grief at the sacred altar of healing as we join in the transformative process of healing together. This community ritual will include personal sharing, meditation, emotional release and community support to create the powerful antidote to shame through healing and release.

We invite you to bring a relic or offering for our sacred altar. 

This 2-hour community ritual is led by Amanda Rue, a Usui Reiki teacher and intuitive healer based in Newburgh, NY. 

Amanda Rue is an an event producer, Reiki teacher, and transformational coach located in Newburgh, NY. Her work invites us to release shame and come into a more conscious connection with pleasure and healing.
