Solstice Spirit Song with Lissi Erwin

Join us for a special Solstice Circle of intuitive song! We will gather to sing the song of the moment, to sing out the old, welcome in the new, and celebrate the longest day of the year. A Spirit Song is when we tune in to the energy of the moment and see what comes out. After calling in directions and a grounding seed sound exercise, we will create a Spirit Song—we start with a beat, and then bring in a tune that wants to come out, and you are invited to join in and raise your voice or create rhythm. We practice listening to our intuition, closing and grounding. This practice is wonderful for bringing in new energy and opening your voice and your heart! Come and play. No prior singing experience necessary. Please bring a drum or shaker or just yourself. Some instruments will also be provided.

Lissi Erwin is an intuitive visual artist and art director who recently has been known to play an elk drum and raise a ruckus in singing circles for adults and children. A music fan and creator of many playlists, her recent passion is leading women into the woods to find their song. She believes in music as the universal language and in its power to manifest and heal. She believes both music and art are in essence a channeling process, that anyone can access once they open up the creative channel through use of their voice. Her circles are based on her own intuitive process of channeling songs and weave in various influences including medicine wheel teachings, grounding breath work, and seed sounds. She opens the voice and throat chakra and sees what comes through.
