Turning Inward
An Autumn Women’s Retreat
October 16th-18th
Napanoch, NY
Join Sasha Botanica and Diana Wassef October 16-18 at Mabels Rest in Napanoch NY, for a women’s weekend retreat during the height of autumn in the Hudson Valley. As the leaves turn, the days shorten, and the natural world begins drawing its energy inward, we will gather to explore this seasonal threshold as a time for reflection, release, and preparation for the quieter months ahead.
Our weekend will weave together seasonal herbalism, embroidered talisman making, nourishing meals, time outdoors, Finnish sauna, rest, and women’s circle. We will also be joined by special guest Emily Morrison,LAc, MAOM of Valley Spirit Wellness Center for Autumn Energetics & Qigong, exploring the season through the lens of Chinese medicine and embodied practice.
The property includes 130 acres of woods with walking trails, cozy fire pit and a Finnish sauna. There will be open time throughout the weekend for you to use the space in whatever way feels best—walking the trails, resting, or spending time outside.
Sasha is an herbalist and artist living in the Hudson Valley whose work is rooted in local plants, seasonal rhythms, and hands-on creativity. Through herbal medicine making, foraging, natural body care, plant dyes, and traditional handcrafts, she creates opportunities for people to engage with the natural world in tangible and sensory ways. Her workshops follow the changing seasons and bring together plant knowledge, creativity, and community, encouraging a deeper relationship with the land and the practices that connect us to it.
Diana Wassef is a sustainable fashion designer, Licensed Menstrual Health Coach, Natural Fertility Educator, and founder of Cremona Studios. With over 15 years of experience in sustainable fashion, her work explores the relationship between the body’s cyclical rhythms and the natural world. Through menstrual education, movement, and thoughtfully made clothing, Diana encourages women to deepen their understanding of their own cycles and find practical ways to live in greater rhythm with them.
