Let’s Feel Great! with Felicia Ballos

Thursdays I 8:15 - 9 am I $15

Experience the joy of movement and deepen your connection to your body in Let's Feel Great!, a unique class designed to support your physical, emotional, and energetic well-being. While acknowledging there’s a lot not to feel great about, this class invites you to nurture and fortify yourself while building meaningful connections with others through shared self-care practices rooted in movement.

This transformative 45-minute experience weaves together a variety of powerful tools, including Qigong, nervous system regulation techniques, Bagua warmups, the Five Phases Theory, Taiqi, and inner alchemy work. Depending on the feeling that day, the class may end with a one-song dance party, by working on a Taiqi form, or standing meditation. Classes are dynamic journeys inspired by the themes Felicia observes when treating clients and how they align with the cycles of the seasons.

Whether you're seeking stress relief, increased vitality, or simply a zone to feel great in your body, this class is open to all levels and is a safe space for everyone. It’s an invitation to explore movement as medicine and leave feeling refreshed, grounded, and empowered.

Felicia Ballos spent many moons in New York City and internationally as a dancer and choreographer, studying with numerous teachers investigating the body from different modalities. Most notably she spent time with Min Tanaka at the Body Weather Laboratory in Japan, connecting the rhythms of the body with the cycles of nature and growing food; with The Trisha Brown Company, dropping into gravity through the plumb lines of our geometries; with the Chinese Kung-Fu, Wu-Su Association, learning the discipline and rigor of Shaolin kung fu; and with Daria Fain, who brought qigong into her practice, swirling the cosmos into the anatomy.

After moving to Beacon, Felicia turned her focus from the outward expression of performance to studying the internal arts of the North American Tang Shou Tao Association. Under Emily Morrison, Ballos completed an apprenticeship learning Jin Shou Tuina and craniosacral therapy and is now a resident with Valley Spirit Acupuncture. Felicia is also a Usui Reiki practitioner, taught by the magical Manu Del Prete.

Ballos is a mother to two teens, a cat, a dog, & a tortoise, a student at The Holistic Institute of Health, and a practitioner of medicine that facilitates others to unwind into their own process of healing.
